Google Fined for clues in search queries

Paris court ordered Google Inc. to pay 50,000 euros for the French insurance company's offensive, in her opinion, the behavior of search engine. On it informs edition The Local.
The claim arose from the fact that the mechanism of automatic prompts, to anticipate the top searches on the phrase, offered to seek the company Lyonnaise de Garantie, in combination with the word ' cheat ' (escroc).

The court noted that Google should implement ' human control ' over the proposals, formed in tips. In his view, the addition of such words may be offensive to the company. At the time of this writing, the French version of the search engine removed from a harsh word autocompletion options.

Google shows on its website that the tips are generated automatically and not manually straightened. The exception to this rule is made for pornography, violent material, material, hate speech, and queries used to search for infringing the copyright of resources.

Google search has repeatedly found himself in the media attention because of such errors. Thus, in the 2010 service on request 'vatican' first in the list of proposals gave the site www. pedofilo. com. In the same year the French search for the expression of trou du cul, meaning ' ass ', provides the first link to the homepage of Nicolas Sarkozy. This case was the result of the so-called ' guglbombinga ' when internet users jokingly introduced a large number of queries to the site of the French president and the pejorative expression.
